2 x 400-Watt 16-Channel Powered Mixer with 24-Bit Multi-FX Processor and
FBQ Feedback Detection System
Designed for a multitude of applications, the PMH3000 is our mid-sized console-style
powered mixer that arms you for anything from standard ensembles to full-blown
multimedia events. It features 16 channels (8 mono + 4 stereo), plus stereo
tape returns, two monitor paths and extremely flexible I/O options. The
2 x 400-Watt COOLAUDIO amplifier will easily handle a large audience. With
our revolutionary COOLAUDIO amplifier technology you get enormous power,
incredible sonic performance and super-light weight delivered in an ultra-compact
mixer that is nearly half the weight of conventional powered mixers. Adding
to the list of “big-mixer” features are: our awesome XPQ 3D
surround sound effect, an integrated Voice Canceller which removes vocals
for karaoke applications, a stereo 7-band graphic EQ with FBQ Feedback Detection,
dual 12-segment LED output level meters and faders for precise level control
of mono, main 1 and monitor 1 & 2 buses. The integrated mono output
can be used to feed an external subwoofer. Stereo power amp inserts and
Phones/Ctrl R output with dedicated level control for headphones or powered
monitors are also on board.
The PMH3000 features 8 balanced low-impedance mic inputs with state-of-the-art
IMP “Invisible” Mic Preamps, low-cut filter and additional channel
inserts plus balanced high-impedance line inputs for direct connection of
line sources or high-output instruments. Its full-featured channel strips
include input level trim controls, signal and clip LED indicators, dual
monitor sends, FX sends, mute and PFL functions plus high-quality 60-mm
logarithmic faders for exact level control. Mono channels also include low-cut
filters, inserts for connecting external processors and A/B switching for
selecting the ¼” TRS or RCA input connectors on channels 9
– 12. The dedicated CD/Tape input allows you to connect a line-level
stereo source so you can play music during your breaks without having to
change the fader positions and lose your mix. The super-rugged carrying
handle makes it easy to transport, while professional speaker connectors
(compatible to Neutrik® Speakon®) ensure outstanding performance
and reliable connection.

MORE POWER
Except for our PMH2000, our PMH family of powered mixers features high-tech
COOLAUDIO power amplifiers that deliver between 600 and 800 Watts of cool,
clean, reliable power. That’s more muscle than you’ll find in
most comparable products. |

| | | XPQ 3D Surround
The XPQ 3D surround effect available in the UB1832FX-PRO and UB1222FX-PRO
widens the stereo image and adds life and transparency to your sound—
an easy way to put a unique final polish on your music and turn your performance
into an incomparable experience.

POWER TO THE
PEOPLE
The six models in the BEHRINGER PMH family offer a wide choice of channel
configurations, power ratings and feature sets. From the ultra-compact PMH660M
with six channels up to the 20-channel 2 x 400-W PMH5000, you're sure to
find the right powered mixer for your needs. |

| | | Switch-Mode Power Supply (SMPS)
Every console in the PRO series uses our state-of-the-art, over-sized, switch-mode power supply with lots of headroom. One of the great advantages is that (compared to conventional circuits) a switch-mode power supply adapts
to mains voltages between 100 and 240 volts automatically. Furthermore, due
to its much greater efficiency, it consumes much less energy than a conventional
supply unit. Even more important is the fact that conventional transformers
always induce 50 Hz hum (check it out on other mixers when you turn up all volume
controls). Our switch-mode supply operates at very high frequency and therefore
keeps the mixer "dead" quiet.

| | | The Voice Canceller
The Voice Canceller function lets you almost entirely remove
the vocal portion of a stereo recording for sing-along applications.

LIFE STARTS IN
THE MIXER SECTION
They may be compact and light, but our PMH powered mixers are also packed
with professional mixing features. Each mono channel sports separate MIC
and LINE inputs with our IMP “Invisible” Mic Preamps plus switchable
phantom power and pad (PMH660M & PMH880S), an ultra-musical 3-band EQ,
monitor and FX sends and a clip LED. The larger models even include channel
inserts. You also get an adjustable aux input, a stereo input for playback
equipment with a Voice Canceller function for karaoke applications, and
a stereo output for recording. The master section gives you comprehensive
control over main and monitor output signals, with features like 7-band
graphic EQ, switchable FBQ Feedback Detection and LED level meters. In addition,
you can select between stereo, double mono and bridged power amp modes.
The integrated speaker processing function adjusts the frequency response
to match professional speaker systems while the standby switch mutes all
channels so you can run your CD player without picking up background noise
from the mics. |

| | | 24 bit / 46 kHz
Digital recordings are often done at a depth of 16 bits, which breaks up the
dynamic range between the loudest and quietest portions of a signal into 65,536
steps. We use the finer resolution of 24 bits, which divides the signals’
loudest-to-softest dynamic range into 16,777,216 steps, allowing for far more
accurate rendering of the quieter parts of the audio.
Audio signals change constantly, so a digital device
must capture these changes as faithfully as possible. The higher the sampling
rate, the better. Our consoles use a sampling rate of 46,000 times per second.
To capture any given frequency, a digital signal’s sampling rate must
be roughly twice that frequency. The sampling rate of 46 kHz is more than adequate
for capturing all signals in the audible range—the human ear can not hear
the sounds whose frequency is higher than 20 kHz.

| | | Invisible Mic Preamp (IMP)
Five years in the making, the Invisible Mic Preamp (IMP) is a superior
mic preamp that delivers crystal-clear audio with incredible reproduction of
the slightest nuances. It matches or exceeds the performance of outboard mic
preamps. You get extreme bandwidth of 5 Hz to 100 kHz coupled to unusually neutral,
noise- and distortion. The BEHRINGER IMP provides ultra-linear frequency response up to 100 kHz. The result of perfect design. Almost unmeasurable distortion for your signal
integrity.
